Your Assignment The role we are seeking will work with operations and administration, development and systems-level programming, as well as use and configuration of support tools utilized in the deliverables for which the team and ITS are responsible. You will primarily work with our modern data center, virtualization, storage, automation, and security, as well as systems-level development focusing on our production environments. The assignment includes support and administration in Linux and Microsoft environments—both supporting development teams and optimizing and managing our services and project environments. You will work in a team where daily work and solutions are anchored and where the goal is to stay one step ahead. About You You have an academic degree in IT or equivalent experience that we deem comparable. You are a team player with a strong sense of responsibility, good collaborative skills, and an interest in new technology. We believe you have strong experience with data centers, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, and automation—primarily in Linux environments based on Red Hat and/or Ubuntu, as well as in Microsoft environments. You possess knowledge in operating, administering, and monitoring computer, server, and network solutions, and have the ability to structure and prioritize. It is also important that you can develop sustainable and manageable solutions, have a customer-oriented approach, and strong pedagogical skills. The role involves significant personal responsibility and a team-oriented work style, as well as strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and oral. Experience working in the university sector and IT security is a bonus. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. The need may involve one or multiple positions, and probationary employment may be applied. Start date can be from October or later depending on need and agreement.
