Your Role As a sales manager/assistant store manager at Lidl, you are the store manager's right hand and have a key position in store leadership. You motivate and inspire the store team to reach their full potential every day and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, correctly, and on time. You naturally participate in daily store operations and work together with the team to give our customers the best store experience. The role includes tasks such as: • Ensure and deliver excellent customer service in the store • Support the store manager in daily store operations and ensure you achieve results by leading, motivating, and developing store staff and participating in daily work in an exemplary manner • Ensure the store meets our core pillars of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability • Work goal-oriented with the store's key metrics • Coordinate and organize orientation and further training of all store employees • You also have full responsibility for store operations when the store manager is not present Your Profile We're looking for someone with experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment. You have strong problem-solving skills and are skilled at planning and delegating tasks. You're driven by a strong customer focus and always prioritize the customer experience. Exceeding set goals and maximizing productivity in your work with the team is self-evident to you. Beyond that, you're a good communicator and can develop the team and store through feedback. We also see that you: • Have completed upper secondary education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on retail. • Speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. We consider it meritorious if you have previous experience working as an assistant store manager, store manager, or department manager in grocery retail or another service-oriented industry.
