Your Role As a sales leader/assistant store manager at Lidl, you are the store manager's right hand and have a natural place in store management. You motivate and inspire the store team to reach their full potential every day and ensure that tasks are carried out efficiently, correctly, and on time. You naturally participate in daily store operations and work together with the team to give our customers the best store experience. The role includes tasks such as: • Ensuring and delivering excellent customer service in the store • Supporting the store manager in daily store operations and ensuring results are achieved by leading, motivating, and developing store staff while participating in daily operations in an exemplary manner • Ensuring the store lives up to our core pillars of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability • Working strategically with the store's key metrics • Coordinating and organizing orientation and further training for all store employees • You also have full responsibility for store operations when the store manager is not present Your Profile We're looking for someone with experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment. You have strong problem-solving skills and are good at planning and delegating tasks. You are driven by your strong customer focus and always prioritize the customer experience. Exceeding set goals and maximizing productivity in your work with the team is a given for you. In addition, you are a good communicator and can develop the team and store through feedback. We also see that you: • Have completed upper secondary education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on retail. • Are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing. We consider it a merit if you have previous experience working as an assistant store manager, store manager, or department manager within grocery retail or another customer-service-oriented industry.
