We are now seeking a Sales Manager for our Stora Coop Trelleborg store. As a Sales Manager, you are a key person in the business and work toward constantly set targets by following up and interpreting key metrics and driving continuous improvements within your area of responsibility. Your role also includes supervisory responsibilities during the store's various operating hours. You are a role model and act in accordance with Coop's values and Coop's customer promise of affordable and sustainable food joy. We see that you, as an applicant, love food and working with sales. Your work includes: Lead sales efforts within your area of responsibility Create a stimulating sales environment in the store Ensure daily operations – staffing, supply management, price maintenance, etc. Follow up on sales development, budget, and margins Initiate, lead, and drive various initiatives to improve profitability and results Work actively to reduce waste and product loss Continuously, within your area of responsibility, be responsible for work distribution, staff development, introducing new employees, ensuring adherence to procedures and regulations, etc. Actively contribute to ensuring Coop's sustainability policy is followed The position is permanent at Stora Coop Trelleborg. We are open when our customers want to shop, so working hours may vary – days, evenings & weekends. The position is 35 hours/week. A probationary period may apply. The position requires experience and expertise in grocery and/or retail sales or another service profession, such as hotel, conference, restaurant work. Experience in a specific area of responsibility is a merit Documented strong sales results in retail is a merit Experience managing staff is a merit Education High school education is required Post-secondary education or university is a merit We seek someone with a strong focus on sales and a powerful drive to create profitability.
