Sales Manager for Delicatessen at ICA Store in Stockholm

We are now seeking an engaged and responsible department manager for delicatessen, cold cuts, and kitchen at an ICA store in the Stockholm area. You will play a central role in the store's fresh food operations and will be responsible for ensuring that the departments maintain a high level of quality, service, assortment, and presentation. We are looking for someone who wants to lead the business forward and create a first-class experience for the store's customers. Job Responsibilities In this role, you are responsible for the daily operations and development of the delicatessen department, cold cuts counter, and kitchen. Your main responsibilities are to: Lead and distribute daily work across the departments. Ensure a high level of quality, service, and customer interaction. Plan and develop the product assortment based on customer demand and store goals. Ensure that delicacies are sliced, packaged, and presented according to the store's high standards. Work actively with sales and provide customers with advice and inspiration. Ensure that counters and other sales areas are always well-stocked, clean, and attractive. Coordinate operations within delicatessen, cold cuts, and kitchen. Follow up on food hygiene routines, self-inspection, and food safety procedures. Take initiative to improve the departments' work methods, sales, and profitability. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is self-driven, engaged, and experienced in taking responsibility. You have a clear customer focus and thrive in a role where you can combine operational work with leadership and development. As a person, you are positive, solution-oriented, and structured. You are good at collaborating and skilled at creating engagement and a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and employees. Work follows the store's opening hours, which means work on evenings and weekends may occur. Qualifications We would prefer that you have: Experience from delicatessen, cold cuts, kitchen, catering, or similar operations. Previous experience leading and organizing daily work in a department. A strong interest in food, quality, service, and sales. Good knowledge of food hygiene and self-inspection. Ability to take initiative and drive improvement work. Experience from ICA or another grocery store is a plus. Employment The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period.
