About the Job Position type: Permanent employment at 40 hours per week, probationary period applies. Start date: As soon as possible by agreement. Work hours: Early mornings, daytime, and occasional evenings and weekends as a natural part of the work. What will you do? Each day brings a fast pace and new challenges, but some of your main responsibilities are: Responsible for planning, leading, and developing the departments within your area of responsibility – both strategically and operationally. You will have team leaders and a group of skilled store staff to support you, and you also have personnel responsibility for them. Responsible for daily operations, staffing, optimizing sales and profitability within the Fresh Produce area, and actively working with sales management/sales planning, shrinkage, and self-inspection. Create and develop routines in daily work and develop staff and departments within your areas. Together with your team, drive the departments and develop the business and staff toward set goals. Ensure a pleasant, efficient, and sales-oriented work environment. You will be part of the store's management team and report to the Store Manager. The fresh produce departments you will be responsible for are Bakery, Meat, Fish/Deli, Fruits & Vegetables, Charcuterie and Cheese, and Dairy. Who are you? You are skilled at creating and developing teams, are communicative and clear. You have a coaching approach, which means you delegate, give feedback, and follow up on work. You are strongly results-oriented and work efficiently to optimize the department's results and achieve set goals. You have the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage staff to create a positive work climate and a customer experience that exceeds expectations. You take your role in the management team with great responsibility and can combine daily store operations with actively contributing to strategic development matters. We place great importance on your personal qualities, especially your ability to inspire and engage staff to create a positive work climate. We believe that you: Have a high school education and master Swedish in speech and writing. Since our customers speak more languages than that, it's wonderful if you do too. Have several years of experience in retail and fresh produce, preferably in a leadership position. Have good knowledge of fresh produce departments. Have previous experience with self-inspection, knowledge of HACCP, and work with food hygiene. If you have previous experience in a leadership position or another role with personnel responsibility, store economics, sales responsibility, staffing, and scheduling, this is a merit. Are relationship-focused and action-oriented with a strong interest in customer service, people, and grocery retail. What do you get?
