As a Sales Associate in Bread and Bakery at Stora Coop Halmstad, you are responsible for performing all common work tasks in the store and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the company and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in customer interactions and in the work of creating a pleasant and inspiring store.
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in the role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work can involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong willingness to learn and develop in your role.
Main responsibilities
Stocking and facing goods
Baking bread and bakery products
Building attractive displays
Handling complaints and claims according to procedures
Self-inspection, cleaning, and organization in the store, warehouse, and staff areas
Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
Following inventory and waste procedures
Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment
Depending on store needs, you may also work with:
Merchandise orders
Cash register work
Returns, receiving inspections, and delivery notes
CAO handling
Price and campaign signage
Price changes
Opening and closing the store according to applicable procedures.

The position is a part-time employment of 25 h/week with start date by agreement. Working hours vary and are scheduled for daytime and evening shifts as well as weekends. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
Requirements
Good Swedish in speech and writing is required
Must be 18 years old as you will need to work independently at the cash register
Meritorious:
Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions is meritorious
Secondary education.
Multilingual skills.
Basic knowledge in retail economics or food handling.
Previous experience working with bread production or bread work is strongly meritorious
