As a Sales Quality Engineer within Sapa Transport and Flooring Systems, you will play a central role in strengthening quality, efficiency, and customer focus throughout the entire chain from sales to production. You are a solution-oriented engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology, quality, and customer requirements — and who enjoys working closely with sales, design, and production teams.
Your Responsibilities – you will, among other things:
· Improve product quality and efficiency by serving as the link between the sales team, R&D/design, and production.
· Act as a technical expert in daily production matters, including production planning.
· Requirements and documentation management — conduct risk assessments and ensure that customer requirements are correctly translated into internal processes, drawings, and product documentation.
· Quality assure and develop quality management systems based on, among other things, ISO 9001, with a focus on maintaining and improving routines and work methods.
· Handle complaints — investigate customer grievances, lead root cause analyses (such as 8D, 5-Why), and ensure that corrective actions are implemented and followed up.
To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:
· Technical education — preferably in industrial, production, or related fields.
· Experience from manufacturing industry with a focus on quality (approximately five years).
· Experience from the automotive and aluminum industries is a merit.
· Proficiency in Office 365 and CAD applications is a requirement. SAP experience is a plus.
· Ability to work independently and take your own initiative on both short-term and long-term assignments.
· Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
· You have a valid driver's license (Category B).
