Montico is now seeking a Security Technician for a client in Linköping.
Job Description
As a Security Technician, you will work with the commissioning, installation, and service of security systems. Projects can range from two weeks to several months and span all business areas including alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and fire alarms.
Examples of tasks:
• Install and commission burglar alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
• Troubleshoot and service security systems
• Perform maintenance service on security systems according to established procedures using modern digital tools
• Participate in documentation work
• Work closely with project managers, technicians, and external suppliers
• Communicate with customers regarding status, needs, and improvement measures
What We're Looking For
Education in electrical, technical, or IT fields, preferably with post-secondary education in security technology, electrical installation, or network technology. Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., SSF 1016, fire alarm SBF 1007) are advantageous.
You need to have work experience with security systems, alarms, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), or fire alarms. Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and service of security systems.
We would like you to have technical expertise in security systems from, for example, RCO, Axema, ASSA, Lenel, Bosch, Honeywell, or equivalent. Knowledge of fire alarm systems from, for example, Schrack Seconet, Securifire, or Schneider or equivalent. Understanding of networks and IT security related to security systems. Experience with electrical installations and low-voltage systems.
