From design to installation and service of locks, alarms, access control systems, and camera surveillance. We are a technology-driven team with strong local presence, delivering security solutions for property owners, businesses, and the public sector in southern Sweden, based in Jönköping. We are now expanding our team with an additional Security Technician to strengthen our presence with our customers. In your role as a Security Technician, you will have independent and flexible work where you are responsible for executing your assignments in a quality and proper manner. While performing tasks within our areas of expertise, you also play an important role in creating, maintaining, and developing relationships with both customers and partners. Your main responsibilities include: • System setup, programming, integration, installation, cable routing, and commissioning of security systems • Troubleshooting, repair, and certain maintenance service • Lead on-site inspections and document in our support systems • Conduct risk assessments and self-inspections according to our standards • Daily reporting of time, materials, and work orders, with feedback to customer and management • Identify improvements and pursue upselling opportunities • Contribute to and participate in department development You have relevant work experience in security, electrical, telecommunications, or similar fields. You have a technical interest that makes you curious and unafraid of various technical questions and challenges, and you are not intimidated by practical tasks such as cable routing and installation. As a person, you are responsible, quality-conscious, persistent, and collaborative. You are attentive, engaged, and results-oriented. You are solution-focused, organized, and have excellent documentation skills. You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have a positive attitude toward business travel where hotel stays may occur. A Class B driving license is required, and we consider it a merit if you have experience with locks, burglar alarms, access control systems, and VMS software Milestone. You report to the Service Manager and are based at the Jönköping office, but most of your time is spent at customer sites. We require that you have no entries in the criminal record register, as our customers include the Defense Department, the Prison Service, and the Police.
