Bravida Security offers comprehensive solutions in technical security. From design to installation and service of locks, alarms, access control systems, and camera surveillance. We are a technology-driven team with strong local presence, delivering security solutions for property owners, businesses, and the public sector in southern Sweden based in Jönköping. Now we are expanding the team with an additional Security Technician to strengthen our presence with our customers.
In your role as a Security Technician, you will have independent and flexible work where you are responsible for completing your assignments in a high-quality and correct manner. While performing tasks within our area of expertise, you also have an important role in creating, maintaining, and developing relationships with both customers and partners. Your main responsibilities include the following:
System setup, programming, integration, assembly, cable routing, and commissioning of security systems
Troubleshooting, repair, and some maintenance service
Conduct on-site testing and document in our support systems
Perform risk assessments and self-inspections according to our standards
Daily reporting of time, materials, and work orders, as well as feedback to customer and management
Identify improvements and work toward upselling
Contribute to and participate in department development
You have relevant work experience in security, electrical, telecommunications, or similar fields. You have a technical interest that makes you curious yet unafraid of various technical questions and challenges, and you are not afraid of practical work tasks such as cable routing and assembly. As a person, you are responsible, quality-conscious, persistent, and collaborative. You are attentive, engaged, and results-oriented. You are solution-focused, structured, and have excellent documentation skills. You communicate well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have a positive attitude toward business travel where hotel nights may be required.
A Class B driver's license is a requirement, and we consider it a merit if you have experience with locks, burglar alarms, access control systems, and Milestone VMS software.
You will report to the Service Manager and be based at the Jönköping office, but most of your time will be spent at customer locations.
We require that you have no remarks in the criminal record register, as our customers include the Defense, Prison Service, and Police. A security clearance and background check will be conducted before employment.
