Are you a security technician with a strong technical interest and experience in installation and commissioning? We are now looking for a security technician for a growing security organization with assignments throughout northern and western Sweden. More about the job As a security technician, you will work with installation, commissioning, and service of security systems. The projects vary in scope and can run from a couple of weeks to several months. You will have the opportunity to work broadly within the security field with, for example, burglar alarms, CCTV, locks, access control systems, and fire alarms. Your responsibilities will include: Installation and commissioning of burglar alarms, CCTV, and access control systems Troubleshooting and service of security systems Maintenance service according to established procedures Programming and configuration of security systems Documentation of completed work Collaboration with project managers, other technicians, and external suppliers Communication with customers regarding status, needs, and improvement measures The role suits you if you enjoy understanding how technology works together and like finding solutions when something isn't functioning as it should. You need to have an understanding of both hardware and software since programming and configuration are a natural part of the work. Business travel occurs regularly within northern and western Sweden, and the extent can vary depending on the assignment. Must-have requirements At least 2 years of experience working as a security technician Experience with installation and commissioning of security systems Strong understanding of both hardware and software Good knowledge of networking and Windows Class B driver's license for manual transmission Good knowledge of Swedish and English Ability to travel on business Meritorious qualifications Certifications in security systems, for example ARX, RCO, Unison, NOX, Milestone, or Bosch BVMS Experience working as a lead technician or lead installer in electrical work Additional training in security technology Experience with multiple types of security systems More about you We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who enjoys understanding, troubleshooting, and solving technical problems. About our client Our client is an established player in installation and security with operations throughout Sweden. The security organization in northern Sweden consists of approximately 27 people with broad expertise in security and works with everything from consulting and design to project management, installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance. The team works with several areas of security, including fire alarms, CCTV, burglar alarms, locks, and access control systems. The organization is in a growth phase and is now looking for additional expertise on the team.
