About the Role

We are looking for someone who enjoys structure, has an eye for detail, and thrives collaborating and contributing to business development. As a Security Protection Specialist with us, you will drive the entire personnel security process, from initial investigation to follow-up, review, and closure. It is a role that combines strategic development work with clear personal responsibility. You will both shape methodology, processes, and training, as well as conduct investigations yourself, handle cases, and prepare decision-making documents for security forums and assist the Security Chief in ensuring that operations and the area are conducted in accordance with applicable security protection legislation, security protection regulations, and directives.
The role also includes providing internal advisory services related to Security Protection, as well as Security Awareness and Travel Security. Our assets are distributed across various European countries, and the rapidly evolving digitalization has led to increased cyber threats and has also resulted in multiple local and international security requirements, making our work both challenging and interesting. You should have several years (2+ years) of current and relevant professional experience in the field of Security Protection, including Personnel Security.
Job Specification
We are looking for someone with excellent collaboration skills and who takes great responsibility for your work, while being driven to achieve results. You have a holistic perspective and actively contribute to good cooperation, both within your team and in a larger context.
We would like to see that you have:
Relevant education and expertise in IT and information security
Experience conducting and administering security clearances, background checks, and record reviews of employees and contractors
Experience with record management and handling of personnel data linked to security protection processes
Experience leading and conducting security protection assessments (SSB), security protection analyses, and developing security protection plans and related instructions
Experience developing and conducting training on security protection, both internally and externally
Strong knowledge of laws and regulations within security protection, and experience interpreting and guiding the organization in compliance (including the Security Protection Act, Security Protection Regulation, and directives)
Experience implementing relevant frameworks and standards, such as NIS2 and the ISO 27000 series
Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
Meritorious:
Experience working with security protection in government agencies and larger companies/organizations
Experience working with physical security
