Rättspsykiatri Vård Stockholm (RPV) is now seeking a Security Coordinator for Section Nord at Löwenströmska Hospital in the scenic Upplands Väsby. We are looking for someone who wants to play a central role in developing, coordinating, and following up on security work in an operation where security, quality, and safety are crucial parts of daily work. About the operation Rättspsykiatri Vård Stockholm (RPV) provides specialized psychiatric care for individuals with serious mental illness who have been convicted of crimes. The operation comprises approximately 550 employees distributed across two sections, Nord and Syd, with inpatient wards and outpatient care. Work takes place in a complex operation where psychiatry, law, ethics, and public safety intersect, and where collaboration with other actors is an important part of the mission. Section Nord is currently undergoing extensive development and renovation. We are renovating and developing our facilities and work methods to create the forensic psychiatry of the future. This involves many changes, but also great opportunities to influence how the operation and security work should evolve going forward. As a Security Coordinator, you will be an important link between the operation's management and the various units, with the goal of working to promote a safe and secure care/work environment for patients, staff, and external actors, as well as to support the operation in maintaining a high and sustainably secure safety level. You will work both strategically and operationally and need to be comfortable moving between overarching issues and practical security work in the operation. Your assignment In your role as Security Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing systematic security work within the section. Coordinate and follow up on security work within the section Identify risks and propose preventive measures Follow up on incidents, deviations, and security-related events Support managers and staff on security matters Work with issues related to threats and violence, alarms, fire, and physical security Contribute to work on crisis preparedness and continuity planning Develop, develop, and follow up on procedures and work methods Plan and implement training and information initiatives Follow up to ensure that decided security measures are implemented Collaborate with various functions within and outside the operation. An important link between section and units A large part of the role involves being close to the operation. Therefore, you need to be able to switch between a strategic perspective and practically being in the operation, identifying needs, and together with those involved finding working solutions. You will have close contact with section management, unit managers, staff, safety representatives, and other functions. The role also involves collaboration with, for example, facilities organization, security functions, and other external actors. We see you as someone who makes things happen – you identify needs, drive issues forward, and follow up to ensure that what has been decided is also implemented. You need to be able to see the whole picture while having the ability to pick up on details that may be important to safety. You are communicative and have an easy way of building trust in contact with various professional groups. You can convey security issues in a clear and educational manner and adapt communication according to recipient and situation. Qualifications Requirements • Relevant higher education or other education deemed equivalent by the employer • Experience working in psychiatric-forensic psychiatric care • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish • Good digital competence.
