As a Security Coordinator, you will have a broad cross-administrative assignment where you coordinate, support, and contribute to work within the security field. You will become part of the Safety and Civil Society Collaboration unit within the Business Support and Urban Environment Department. You will become part of a competent and engaged group with diverse expertise in safety, security, collaboration, and community development. The unit works both strategically and operatively, and you will have many contact points within the administration. You will also collaborate with, among others, police, civil society, associations, businesses, property owners, and other public actors. Your assignment As a Security Coordinator, you will work both strategically and operatively with security, crisis preparedness, civil preparedness, and other issues related to Stockholm City's security program. You provide support to management, supervisors, and operations and are responsible for developing and coordinating working methods within your area. You are also the administration's contact person towards the City Executive Office and represent the administration in relevant networks. Your role includes, among other things: - responsibility for work with risk and vulnerability analyses (RSA) and continuity planning - coordinating civil preparedness, including crisis preparedness and civil defense - responsibility for the administration's crisis management plan and crisis support organization, including POSOM - responsibility for safety points - planning and conducting security and crisis management exercises - conducting training and information initiatives - developing action plans, crisis management plans, and war planning - collaborating with internal and external actors - representing the administration in networks within security and crisis preparedness - writing remittance responses and official statements to the board. Your skills and experience We are looking for you who have: - relevant education from a university/college or relevant vocational education - knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards within the security field - experience working in a politically governed organization - good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - good ability to collaborate and to lead and coordinate collaboration. It is meritorious if you have: - experience working within Stockholm City - experience with RSA according to the FORSA model - experience with civil preparedness and civil defense - experience with crisis management and continuity planning - experience with POSOM or other crisis support organization. Your personal skills You are secure and stable with high integrity. The responsibility area is broad, which requires a holistic view and strategic thinking, while at the same time you need to be able to provide operational support when needed. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your area. You work in a structured manner, can prioritize, and drive work forward. You are good at creating and maintaining good relationships and enjoy collaborating with others.
