Junior Information Security Coordinator at Region Norrbotten, Luleå Do you want to be part of developing our information security work? Then we have an exciting position for you! Region Norrbotten is now expanding the team working with information security. We are looking for an information security coordinator who wants to help further strengthen the region's cybersecurity efforts. Our IT/MT department is tasked with leading digitalization efforts in the region and creating the right conditions for developing work methods and driving innovation with new technology. What we are looking for We are looking for someone with relevant education at university or college level, or equivalent knowledge that the employer deems comparable. You have knowledge of information security, for example through familiarity with the ISO/IEC 27000 series, and experience with information classification according to SKR's KLASSA. We would like you to have experience working with information security and risk management, where you have contributed to developing or monitoring security work in organizations. Experience in risk management within information security is a plus. We place great importance on your personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you are communicative and have the ability to clearly convey messages and create understanding in the organization. You work in a structured manner and have good problem-solving skills and can analyze and handle complex questions within the information security field. The role also requires you to be independent and take responsibility for your tasks and drive processes forward on your own initiative. What you will work with The role as Information Security Coordinator involves supporting the organization and ensuring that information security work is conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, which you do by, among other things, participating in information classifications and risk analyses and risk management. You will be involved in driving the development, implementation and monitoring of information security work in close collaboration with the team and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. The position is placed in a security class, which means that a security clearance will be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and the Security Protection Ordinance (2018:658). Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
