Senior Information Security Coordinator to Region Norrbotten, Luleå Do you want to be part of developing our information security work? Then we have an exciting position for you! At Region Norrbotten, we are now expanding the team working with information security. We are seeking a senior information security coordinator who wants to further strengthen the region's cybersecurity efforts. Our IT/MT department is tasked with leading the digitalization work in the region and creating the right conditions to develop working methods and drive innovation with new technology. We are looking for We seek someone with relevant education at university or college level, or equivalent knowledge that the employer deems equivalent. You have at least five years of experience working in information security and good knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27000 series and information classification according to SKR's KLASSA. You also have knowledge of NIS2 and GDPR. Furthermore, you have experience in risk management and work with information classification. It is meritorious if you have experience controlling and monitoring compliance with requirements both internally and externally. Certifications in the information security field, such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or certifications in NIS2, GDPR, or data protection, are meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you are communicative, work in a structured manner, and have a systematic approach where you plan, organize, and follow up your work in an efficient way. Furthermore, you have good problem-solving ability and can analyze complex issues. The role also requires independence, where you take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward on your own initiative. What you will work with The role as Information Security Coordinator involves supporting the organization and ensuring that information security work is conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, which you do by, among other things, participating in information classifications and risk analyses as well as risk management. You will be involved in driving the development, monitoring, and implementation of information security work in close collaboration with the team and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. The position is placed in a security classification, which means that a security clearance will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and the Security Protection Ordinance (2018:658).
