We are now seeking a Security Coordinator – Physical Protection for Teracom. About the position The position is placed within Teracom's Security and Operations Department, Security Unit. The role involves overall responsibility for leading, developing, coordinating and monitoring Teracom's work with physical protection – both within security protection and operational protection. The work is both strategic and operational and encompasses the development of physical protection across Teracom's entire operations. The role is varied and challenging, with great opportunities for personal and professional development. You may be assigned to wartime deployment in your position. Main responsibilities and duties In this role you will, among other things: serve as a demanding and expert function in physical protection for all of Teracom's operations contribute expertise on detection and deterrent protection solutions, such as alarm and access systems, CCTV systems, and mechanical protection in building structures such as doors and other enclosure surfaces monitor the development of new methods and technologies regarding physical protection solutions set requirements and develop work processes related to physical protection, such as access procedures and other security-related working methods design and implement governing processes and documents within physical protection participate as support and expert in projects and procurement processes related to physical protection solutions contribute to ensuring that Teracom's physical protection meets relevant regulations, standards and internal requirements The role carries significant responsibility and places high demands on knowledge of security and security protection, as well as experience working in environments with high confidentiality requirements. Travel with overnight stays outside your home location may occur. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: relevant education in the field multiple years of documented work experience in physical protection, security or security protection very good knowledge of security protection and the regulatory requirements that govern the design of physical protection very good knowledge of relevant standards, certification requirements and industry standards for physical protection solutions It is a merit if you have: experience with both operational and strategic security work within a state-owned company, government agency or equivalent private sector operations broad experience in security protection work, such as security protection analysis or security clearances Personal qualities We will place great emphasis on personal suitability and commitment. Other requirements Valid driver's license (Category B) Employment requires passed drug and alcohol testing, background check as well as approved security clearance with record check, as the position is classified in a security class.
