Your Tasks As a Security Coordinator, you will together with a colleague have an overarching coordination function within the security area of the Social Services Administration and act as the link between the central security organization of the municipality and the security work of the administration. You are part of the security organization and work closely together with your colleague in the administration and other security coordinators in the municipality. The role is both strategic and operational with two main focus areas. One is to strengthen and develop internal security work and security culture close to employees and managers, as well as to support risk assessments and develop safety and crime prevention work from an administrative perspective. You will also work with municipality-wide governing documents within security, for example by assisting in the development of operations-adapted procedures. The work is based on broad cooperation at multiple levels, from administration management and internal specialists to the municipality's security unit, the property company Lejonfastigheter, authorities, contractors, and security companies. Collaboration with the HR function is particularly important to link systematic security work with systematic occupational health and safety work. You will also support and lead a network with the administration's safety representatives. Your Workplace The assignment as Security Coordinator is placed in the Unit for Facilities and Security, which is under the Administration Support and Service department. The department is where the administration's overarching support functions are organized. The Security Chief has functional responsibility for the role. The administration to which you organizationally belong has overall responsibility for authority management, planning, commissioning, execution, and follow-up within social services. The workplace is located in newly renovated premises in central Linköping. It is an activity-based workplace where you choose your location based on the day's work. Working hours are arranged on weekdays with trust-based working time. We would prefer that you have prior education within security. We require experience in physical security work and previous experience in conducting and supporting risk assessments. We consider experience with systematic fire safety work (SBA) to be highly meritorious. If you have previous experience with fire safety matters, for example as a fire engineer, fire safety consultant, or in a corresponding role, we also consider this to be highly meritorious. Since the work involves establishing and updating procedures and policies, we consider previous experience with this to be meritorious. Experience in planning and conducting training in fire safety and security, as well as previous experience in advisory work within the field, is also meritorious. Since you need to be able to freely assimilate written materials in the position and communicate daily both orally and in writing with both internal and external stakeholders, you need to master Swedish in both speech and writing. In the position, you may need to travel to different locations, which is why we require that you have a category B driver's license. We also require that you have a good understanding and knowledge of technology and software regarding cameras, locking and access systems, fire and burglar alarms, and good knowledge of the Act on Protection Against Accidents (LSO). Furthermore, you work well with others, you communicate, listen, and have the ability to relate to them in a responsive manner. In this recruitment, we will use tests as part of our assessment.
