The Security, Knowledge and Analysis unit is placed under the Operations Management and IT department at the municipal administration. We work with security efforts in Gislaved Municipality and Gnosjö Municipality. In addition to civil preparedness, the unit works with crime prevention, internal protection, and information security. Work Responsibilities The role of security coordinator is broad, and in this position you will have an important role in driving and coordinating preparedness work in Gislaved and Gnosjö. You provide support to administrations and companies. You will work both strategically and operatively. The assignment includes planning and coordination as well as follow-up. The work tasks will be shaped and distributed based on the unit's needs and your knowledge and abilities. Examples of work tasks: Developing and implementing plans, decision-making materials, and exercises within the preparedness area Conducting risk and vulnerability analyses Contributing to increased security awareness within the municipal group by guiding and training in preparedness and security matters Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders Participating in the municipality's crisis management organization Qualifications You hold a relevant university degree, for example in Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science, Process Management, or Project Management. You may also have other education combined with work experience that the employer considers equivalent. You are a Swedish citizen and have excellent language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is beneficial if you also have: Experience working with preparedness issues Experience in process management, preferably within public operations Experience in municipal organization Experience in investigative work, preferably within public operations Class B driver's license We value that you can see the bigger picture for the municipality and have a humble approach.
