Järfälla is located two miles northwest of Stockholm C, with approximately 90,000 residents. The Community Development Administration, which includes the Property Department, is an administration with a broad mandate responsible for everything from early stages of the community development process to daily operations and long-term management. We have over 320 employees within the administration who work together for operations under the Environment and Building Permit Board, the Technical Board, and the Municipal Executive Board. Järfälla is an expanding municipality; we are growing both geographically and organizationally. The Property Department consists of approximately 50 employees and is responsible for about 430,000 m² of premises, schools, preschools, cultural and sports facilities, and care housing. The department consists of 3 units: the Management Unit, the Customer and Technical Unit, and the Project Management Unit. We are now recruiting a Security Coordinator for the Customer and Technical Unit. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a Security Coordinator, you are responsible for ongoing case management, administration, and development of our security technical systems, such as fire alarms, burglar alarms, access control systems, locks, and suppression systems. Broad and close collaboration with colleagues in daily operations. You coordinate measures with contractors and operations, follow up and ensure function and compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute with technical expertise in fire protection, physical and electronic security. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Good knowledge within fire protection, building technology, electronic and physical security. • Education in security and/or building regulations, or work experience that the employer considers equivalent. • Several years of experience in consulting, service, and troubleshooting work, preferably within the security industry. • Knowledge of regulations regarding security matters. • Good skills in the Office package. • B-class driver's license and pedagogical ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Meriting is experience working with or in a politically governed organization. Personal qualities To succeed in the role, you are structured, analytical, and self-directed. You have the ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement them into concrete actions.
