ABOUT THE ROLE
Take responsibility for and develop the company's systematic safety work.
Work with process safety and risk management in gas and process operations.
Conduct and document risk assessments and safety analyses.
Develop, document, and improve technical processes and work procedures.
Initiate and drive preventive safety and improvement measures.
Participate in investigations of incidents, deviations, and near-misses and ensure follow-up of corrective actions.
Ensure that operations comply with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, standards, and internal safety requirements.
Provide technical support to the organization on matters related to processes, gas, chemistry, and safety.
Contribute to technical projects, changes, and investments from a process and safety perspective.
Educate and support employees to create a strong and long-term safety culture throughout the organization.
WHO ARE YOU?
- We are looking for someone with a technical university or college degree, for example in chemical engineering, process engineering, energy engineering, or a related field.
- You have a genuine interest in safety and understand the importance of structured processes, risk awareness, and preventive work.
- As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You are comfortable taking responsibility and have the ability to translate technical requirements and regulations into practical and effective working methods.
- The role involves many contact points, which means you need to be communicative and able to collaborate with both production and technical teams as well as management and external parties.
EXPERIENCE
Relevant technical university or college degree in, for example, chemistry, process, energy, or a related field.
Strong technical understanding of processes and process safety.
Ability to work systematically with risk assessments, documentation, and improvement work.
Very good English language skills, both spoken and written – this is a requirement.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with different parts of the organization.
MERITORIOUS
Experience working with process safety, risk analyses, or safety management.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the gas, chemical, and process industries.
Experience driving technical projects and improvement initiatives.
Previous experience from the process industry, gas industry, or chemical industry.
