Do you want meaningful work and contribute to a safer Sweden in an uncertain world? The military security service is led and directed by the Security Office (SäkK) at Must. Within the Security Office, the Personnel Security Division is responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing personnel security in the Swedish Armed Forces. The Register Control Section at the Personnel Security Division is tasked with leading, coordinating, and developing the register control process in the Swedish Armed Forces. The section's work is characterized by commitment, integrity, and quality. Main Responsibilities As a security handler, your primary task is to coordinate the flow of register controls within the agency, including those related to security-protected procurement. The work involves reviewing incoming requests for register control as well as applications for personnel security clearance (PSC) and security certificates (PSCC). Additionally, the work involves requesting, processing, and dispatching documents within the framework of the Swedish Armed Forces' security vetting. You will handle large amounts of information and provide important support to organizational units in their register control management. You will have contact with different parts of the Swedish Armed Forces and other authorities. As a team member at the section, we expect you to actively participate in developing methods, processes, and procedures for register control in the Swedish Armed Forces. The role also includes training others, which requires you to feel comfortable in such a role. The workplace uses flexible hours, but there are fixed times that daily work must be adapted to. There is no opportunity for remote work, and travel within and outside Sweden may occur. In the Swedish Armed Forces, physical training and wellness are considered work tasks. Qualifications Secondary school education Several years of continuous work experience as an administrator, registrar, or equivalent security handler position Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Meritorious Experience working with security vetting, register control, and/or security-protected procurement Experience handling classified documents and information in accordance with OSL, the Archives Act, and/or the Data Protection Act Experience with independent work where you have made your own prioritizations and assessments Experience driving, developing, and improving processes and work methods Experience gathering and compiling information Experience working with the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems Experience working within the Swedish Armed Forces or another government agency Experience planning and conducting training Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with orderliness and attention to detail as well as structure. You have high integrity, personal maturity, and are unpretentious and responsible. You are flexible and pedagogical and have the ability to shift focus and make prioritizations based on operational needs. You also need to have good social skills. As the work is characterized by tasks with high secrecy, finally, good judgment and a high level of security awareness are required. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
