About the Job Due to the changing security situation in Sweden and internationally, security issues are becoming increasingly important, and the County Administrative Board receives expanded assignments. In your role as Security Handler, you will be part of our security team. Primary Responsibilities The position consists of two main work areas. For our technical systems, your responsibilities include: Implement and manage current and future information systems. Support the information security coordinator with, for example, information classification, access management, and follow-up. Participate in regional and national projects and networks as needed. Within signal protection, your responsibilities include: Support and, if needed, substitute for the signal protection manager. Key management – for example, ongoing management, incident reporting Scheduling and support for the cryptographic unit Train and exercise signal protection personnel internally. The work is in constant development, and based on the agency's and security team's mandate, the tasks will change over time. You therefore need to be able to handle change while also having the opportunity to both broaden and deepen your expertise with us. About You We are looking for someone who has: Relevant education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent Knowledge and/or experience in managing technical systems. Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written A driver's license for a passenger car. As a person, you are pedagogical and have a natural ability to explain and teach complex topics in a simple and understandable way. You are thorough and organized, and your high integrity means that you act reliably and responsibly. You are self-driven and enjoy taking your own initiative, while also being flexible and adaptable in different situations. You want to learn new things and develop. Additionally, you have good collaboration skills and an ability to create positive relationships, making you a valued team player. It is a merit if you have: Experience in IT security, cybersecurity, and information security.
