Are you an experienced leader who wants to create safe and secure environments for Gothenburg residents? Bostadsbolaget is now seeking a Chief of Security to strengthen and develop the company's crisis and security efforts. As a public housing company, we take responsibility for the entire residential environment and work daily to ensure our housing areas are safe and secure for both tenants and employees. We have an ambitious safety and security program where we, among other things, have zero tolerance for criminal activity in our housing areas. We also work with a focus on our vulnerable areas with the goal that there should be no particularly vulnerable areas according to the police's list in Gothenburg by 2030. Your Assignment As Chief of Security, you will have a central role in developing and coordinating Bostadsbolaget's security efforts. You will work both strategically and operationally to strengthen our ability to prevent, manage and follow up on security-related issues in a changing environment. You will work broadly across the entire company, and in collaboration with the Framtiden Group, to strengthen our security culture and protect the company's valuable assets. You will lead, coordinate and develop work within personal security, physical security, information security, incident and crisis preparedness, and civil defense and preparedness. As Chief of Security, you are responsible for the Security Unit, which consists of three security coordinators. Together, you form close support to operations and company management on security-related matters. To succeed with this assignment, it is therefore important that you are responsive to operational needs and can switch between strategic and operational work. The role also includes the following areas of responsibility: Personnel and budget responsibility. Systematic development of the security culture at the company. Leading, coordinating, developing and following up the company's work within the security and preparedness area. Responsibility for the company's crisis organization. Prepare and present security and preparedness matters at management group and board meetings. Participate in the Framtiden Group's TIB function (Official on Standby) during business hours. Represent Bostadsbolaget in various networks and collaboration forums, such as the Framtiden Group's security council. The Security Unit is part of Bostadsbolaget's newly established staff department and you report to the staff manager. The role is based at our office on Engelbrektsgatan in central Gothenburg. Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant academic education and several years of experience in qualified security work in a leadership role. You have good knowledge of legislation within the risk, security and preparedness areas, as well as experience in translating regulations and requirements into practical operational work. You are used to collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders and have experience in crisis management and crisis handling. As a leader, you are confident, clear and engaging. You have a strong ability to build trusting relationships, create collaboration and get people to work towards common goals. You communicate clearly and are skilled at anchoring, implementing and following up on working methods, routines and guidelines in the organization. You are action-oriented, structured and development-focused, with the ability to prioritize and drive matters forward even in complex contexts. It is meritorious if you have experience from public operations, public housing or other complex organizations with a clear societal mission.
