Join our team! Valmiermuižas preschool education institution "Burtiņš" (hereinafter – the Institution) is seeking a facilities manager for an indefinite period. Work location: Ozolu iela 2A, Valmiermuiža, Valmieras pagasts, Valmieras novads. Expected start date: September 21, 2026. If you want to: • organize and manage facilities operations at the Institution; • ensure timely technical maintenance and preventive service of the Institution's engineering infrastructure (electrical grid, alarm systems, water supply and sewage, heating system, pool); • organize and oversee the work quality of the technical staff; • participate in budget planning and public procurement specification preparation; and you have: • at least secondary vocational education; • previous experience in an equivalent position (experience in state or municipal institutions will be considered an advantage); • computer skills, office equipment operation, internet usage, and database knowledge; • ability to perform minor repairs; • ability to navigate and apply regulatory requirements; • competencies: planning and organizational skills and quality work execution; sense of responsibility, discipline, accuracy; communication and cooperation skills; psychological resilience; ability to work independently and in a team; we offer: • 1 full-time position (40 hours per week); • base salary during probation 1052 EUR before tax, after probation 1105 EUR before tax (for full-time position); • employer-co-financed health insurance after probation completion, as well as other social benefits/benefits according to work results and regulatory requirements; • work in a creative, friendly collective; • stable, organized work environment.
