Facilities Manager

Join our team! Valmiermuiža preschool educational institution "Burtiņš" is seeking a Facilities Manager for a permanent position. Work location: Ozolu iela 2A, Valmieras pagasts, Valmieras novads Expected start date: September 1, 2026. If you want to: organize and manage facilities operations at the institution; ensure timely technical maintenance and preventive servicing of the institution's engineering systems (electrical, alarm, water supply and sewage, heating system, pool); organize and oversee the work and quality of technical staff; participate in budget planning and preparation of public procurement specifications; maintain facilities documentation in accordance with the institution's filing requirements; and you have: at least secondary or secondary vocational education; previous experience in an equivalent role (experience in state or municipal institutions will be considered an advantage); ability to work with computers, office equipment, use internet resources and databases; ability to perform minor repairs; ability to navigate regulations and apply them in practice; competencies: planning and organizational skills and ability to perform work with high quality; sense of responsibility, discipline, accuracy; communication and collaboration skills; psychological resilience; ability to work independently and as part of a team; we offer: 1 full-time position (40 hours per week); base salary during probation 1052 EUR before taxes, after probation 1105 EUR before taxes (for full-time position); employer co-financed health insurance after probation period ends, as well as other social guarantees/benefits in accordance with work results and applicable regulations; work in a creative, friendly team; stable, well-organized work environment.
