The position is based at Stena Recycling's headquarters in Gothenburg. Travel within the West and South regions is a natural part of the role, and when you're not visiting operations, you work primarily from the office.
Your Experience
We are looking for someone with experience driving occupational health and safety matters in an operation where safety is a central part of the business. You have worked with systematic occupational health efforts, risk management, and improvement initiatives, and feel confident translating legal requirements and guidelines into practical solutions that work in operations. You likely have experience from industry, manufacturing, construction, facilities management, or other operations with complex occupational health risks. You are experienced working closely with managers and leaders and thrive in a consultative role where you support, coach, and challenge to drive development. We would like you to have education in the occupational health field or equivalent experience. Experience with chemical occupational health risks, chemical safety matters, or project management is a plus. A Class B driving license is required.
About You
You are a person who builds trust and creates good relationships with people at all levels of the organization. You have pedagogical and communication skills that allow you to translate complex matters into something concrete and understandable for the recipient. At the same time, you are self-driven and structured with the ability to move matters forward and make things happen. You dare to challenge when needed, set demands, and follow up to ensure decisions are implemented in practice. You thrive in a role where you can combine strategic thinking with operational presence and where you can make a difference for both people and the business.
