Position Offered Public Relations Specialist Communications and Services Management Department (permanent full-time position) Your Main Responsibilities: • Plan and implement the institution's external communications in accordance with strategic objectives; • Build relationships with media; • Explain statistical data to various audiences, creating content that is accurate, reliable, and easily understandable; • Create social media content, analyze results and audience engagement; • Organize the Bureau's communications and publicity events; • Prepare communications materials; • Develop the Bureau's internal communications, promoting open and effective information flow; • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the Bureau's strategic objectives. Our Requirements: • Higher education in communications, public relations, or a related field; • At least 1 year of experience in communications, public relations, or journalism, acquired within the last 3 years; • Excellent Latvian language skills, both written and verbal; • Ability to explain complex information in an understandable and engaging manner; • Experience creating content across various communications channels, including social media, as well as understanding of analytics and results evaluation; • Skills in creating visualizations and presentations (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, etc.); • Good digital skills (MS Office and other daily work tools); • English language knowledge at least at B level (spoken and written) for developing international cooperation (e.g., participation in working groups, international events, etc.); • Ability to plan, organize work, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
