ALŪKSNES NOVADA KULTŪRAS CENTRS registration code 90000019295 is announcing an open position for a PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALIST (for an indefinite period) We are looking for a public relations specialist – a motivated, creative person with excellent communication skills, ready to apply their knowledge, develop their abilities, and gain valuable experience in our team. The position involves flexible working hours. Your daily responsibilities: Organizing communications in Alūksnes novada's culture sector, working with event organizers; organizing the institution's external communications; managing the institution's social media accounts, strategically developing their content and visual design; representing and promoting the institution; collaborating with media outlets; collecting and preparing current information about the institution's work, events, projects, and other matters for publication on the institution's communication channels and distribution to media; photography at institution-organized events, photo editing and publishing on the institution's communication channels; assisting in website development, content updates, and improvements. Required skills and knowledge: higher education or final-year studies in public relations or related fields that provide the skills necessary for performing job duties; experience in social media management, website maintenance, and press release preparation; understanding and knowledge of the latest trends in the digital sphere, media literacy; good knowledge of Latvian and English for communication in international projects; good language sense and writing skills; skills in preparing visual materials; interest in the latest trends in the public relations field. Personal qualities: high sense of responsibility, precision; ability to work individually and in a team; ability to rationally and independently plan your work, prioritizing effectively; initiative, creativity, good communication skills. The monthly salary for this position is up to 1168.00 EUR before taxes (during the trial period 90% of the specified monthly salary).
