We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen where everything is made from scratch and where our passion for ingredients and food clearly shines through on the plate. Vejbystrand and Strandhugget are located right in the heart of Skåne's pantry, and we source our ingredients from the immediate vicinity of the restaurant. You know that kitchen work is demanding. We work hard, and that's why you also need to be able to enjoy yourself and have fun at work. You must therefore be a team player (clichéd, I know, but a requirement) who can both give and receive encouragement when things get hectic. You love presenting food beautifully, but you also understand the importance of making the most of every ingredient for kitchen economics. At Strandhugget we serve home-style cooking—Swedish, French, and sometimes Italian. We simply serve good food that many people enjoy. We are looking for someone who wants a permanent position with the opportunity to be part of developing Strandhugget into the year-round destination it should become. We are members of Visita and naturally follow the agreements and regulations that apply to the industry.
