In your role as a pipe fitter, your main tasks will be focused on the manufacturing and assembly of piping systems in the construction, reconstruction and maintenance of submarines and surface vessels. We use welding methods such as TIG and orbital welding. The piping systems contain materials such as stainless steel, copper-nickel, copper, titanium and unalloyed steel. This makes the job very varied and provides excellent opportunities to develop your craftsmanship and professional skills. To succeed as a pipe fitter with us, we see that you are collaborative, solution-oriented and thorough. Your Profile Requirements Upper secondary education in plumbing and heating or equivalent Knowledge of blueprint and schematic reading as well as good material and filler knowledge Basic computer skills Meritorious Experience with hard soldering, TIG welding and if you hold a welding license. Previously processed material through drilling, threading, bending and cutting among other things. Knowledge of fasteners and measurement techniques The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security regulations.
