In your role as a pipe fitter, your main tasks will be focused on manufacturing and assembly of piping systems for new construction, refurbishment and maintenance of submarines and surface vessels. We use welding methods such as TIG and orbital welding. The piping systems contain materials such as stainless steel, copper-nickel, copper, titanium and unalloyed steel. This makes the job very varied and provides good opportunities to develop your craft and professional skills. To succeed as a pipe fitter with us, we see that you are collaborative, solution-oriented and thorough. Your Profile Requirements Upper secondary education in plumbing and heating or equivalent Knowledge of drawing and schematic reading as well as good material and filler knowledge Basic computer skills Merits Experience with hard soldering, TIG welding and if you hold a welding license. Previously processed materials through drilling, threading, bending and cutting among other methods. Knowledge of fastening and measuring techniques The position requires that you undergo and are approved in accordance with applicable security regulations.
