Your Workplace The department has just over 20 employees: radiologists, radiologic technologists, nursing assistants, and healthcare administrators. The unit operates 24/7 and is located at one of the county's three emergency hospitals. We work with conventional radiography, computed tomography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging. We use Sectra's RIS/PACS and our equipment is new and modern. At the radiology department in Arvika, we are proud to operate 24/7 despite being a smaller unit. We help each other and the work team is flexible and takes great responsibility in solving shift changes and staffing. We enjoy working in teams and value all staff categories in our collaborative work. Your Tasks We are looking for someone who wants to work with all types of radiological examinations. We offer individual training so that you can independently perform examinations on all of the unit's modalities over time. As one of the county's three emergency hospitals, employment typically involves shift work with weekdays/weekends and day/evening/night shifts. In addition to emergency operations, we also have some elective services in late evenings and nights to increase accessibility for patients. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for a licensed radiologic technologist. As a person, you work independently and can rely on your own ability and judgment. You are flexible in your approach and collaborate well with others in a team. You express yourself confidently and clearly to others and work meticulously with a good understanding of goals and quality requirements.
