Radiology in Falun operates 24/7 with both emergency and scheduled examinations in Ultrasound, Computed Tomography, Conventional X-ray, Interventional Radiology, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine. Over 100 employees with various professions work here, so you'll have a group of happy, competent, and engaged colleagues. We are a growing radiology department within Region Dalarna. In fall 2025, we opened our newly built MRI facility where we are expanding our MRI operations. Job Responsibilities As a radiologic technologist with us, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and that examinations are performed with the highest quality. We work in teams that can look different depending on which lab you're in. In our Radiology department, we have a mix of both newer and more experienced colleagues working together. Each section has a section leader whose task is to drive the section's development work in close collaboration with other colleagues. We use an introduction plan for all new employees. If you are a newly graduated radiologic technologist, we offer comprehensive training across all modalities of the profession. When you work in 24/7 shifts, there is a wage incentive of 3000kr plus reduced working hours. If you have day/evening/weekend shifts, there is a wage incentive of 1500kr plus reduced working hours. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Holds a license as a radiologic technologist Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in a team in both planned and acute care settings Is committed to providing high-quality care and contributing to a positive work environment Meritorious: Previous experience working in a radiology department Personal Qualities: You appreciate varying work pace and the variety in tasks You are confident and independent, taking responsibility for your work tasks You have good communication skills with both patients and colleagues You thrive in an environment where the pace is sometimes high and have the ability to maintain structure and focus.
