Ronneby Environment & Technology seeks Operations Technician with Maintenance Expertise
For the District Heating & Cooling department, we are looking for operations personnel who will be involved in ensuring the operation of our facilities and, together with others in the department, be responsible for the production facilities functioning from a holistic perspective.
About the position
As an Operations Technician with us, you work together with colleagues in the department on monitoring, operations/maintenance and optimization. We also have a number of exciting initiatives, including small-scale combined heat and power to produce renewable electricity at two production facilities.
Your main areas of responsibility consist of:
Optimization/efficiency of production facilities with regard to economy and environment
Preventive and corrective maintenance work in operations
Actively work with continuous improvements that are documented and followed up
Contribute to achieving the company's set objectives such as quality, efficiency, delivery and personal safety and comply with laws, agreements and applicable safety regulations
Work according to the company's guidelines and act in line with Environment Technology's goals, principles and values, and stand up for and follow decisions made in the company
Independently oversee our production facilities and operate heavy machinery as needed.
The role as Operations Technician is based at Sörby Works in Ronneby. The position is daytime with on-call duties.
About you
We are looking for you with experience from the process or energy industry and with relevant technical education. You have good knowledge of how different systems affect each other, such as district heating and cooling. If you also have knowledge of automation and combustion technology or are a certified boiler operator, we will be even more interested.
We want you to have good Swedish language skills and preferably also English. A B driving license is a requirement.
We believe you enjoy collaborating to solve problems, have a great interest and passion for technology, like to tinker, and are comfortable sharing your knowledge with the organization. You are also used to initiating your own activities and smaller projects and taking personal responsibility for them. You are a natural relationship builder who communicates simply and clearly and creates an environment that promotes collaboration. We work based on "the team before yourself".
