The school maintains close collaboration with home care services in Skärholmen, and participants will be offered summer jobs within their operations. The role involves close cooperation with other teachers in the teaching team and the school as a whole. The course is aimed at people who have Swedish as a second language, and we hope you have experience teaching this target group. You will be responsible for the participants' learning and development together with the teaching team. We are looking for someone who is engaged, enjoys working in a team, and wants to help develop the course together with us and local care and social services organizations. About the School Röda Korsets folkhögskola is part of the Swedish Red Cross. The school is located in Skärholmen to meet educational needs primarily in the local area. We educate approximately 170 participants per year. Through our folk high school activities, we contribute to the Swedish Red Cross's vision of a humane Sweden in a sustainable world. Beyond folk high school activities, we want to develop local collaboration to further strengthen the local community through cooperation and activities that meet local needs. We want to develop our position as "a school in the heart of the village." Qualification Requirements: Vocational teacher qualification in care and social services At least 2 years of experience in adult education Meritorious qualifications also include: Experience teaching groups with Swedish as a second language Experience working in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas Experience from folk high school Multilingualism About the Position This is a fixed-term position at 50% running from August 2026 through June 16, 2028.
