Norr Amsberg Riding Club is a small riding school focused on children and youth. The facility is shared by the riding school and private equestrians. The riding school is located in the village of Norr Amsberg, approximately one mile north of Borlänge. We currently have 10 horses/ponies and approximately 110 lessons each week. We offer lessons Monday through Thursday, as well as Saturdays. Activities take place outdoors in the riding arena. Your Profile We are looking for a dedicated riding instructor who wants to help develop our riding school operations. We place great importance on personal suitability and are seeking someone who enjoys working with children, youth, horses, and community in the stable. You should be positive, flexible, responsible, and have good communication skills. You should work collaboratively, be engaged, and prioritize horse welfare. You should enjoy teaching at different levels and be pedagogical. It is advantageous if you have training and/or teaching experience, and we would like to see that you are an active rider. We want you to be a good role model for our students, focus on the horses' well-being, and view the riding school as a meeting place where everyone is welcome. A driver's license is essential as the riding school is somewhat remote. The position includes planning and conducting riding lessons for children, youth, and adults at different levels. Horse and stable care are included on days you teach lessons. Further training of our horses, hosting events, and some administrative tasks may occur. Employment Type: Probationary employment Start Date: Immediately or by agreement Position Hours: Lessons Wednesdays, Thursdays 16.00-20.30, and Saturdays 08.30-13.30 (other working hours may apply) Salary: According to agreement Application: References are preferably included with your application.
