We are now seeking a resource nurse for home care in Vetlanda. Within home care, we work in nine different teams – four in rural areas and five in the central town. Each team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and we also have nursing assistants and rehabilitation assistants who work across teams. As a resource nurse, you work throughout the municipality based on operational needs. Unlike our other nurses, you are not assigned to a specific team, but provide support where the need is greatest. As a nurse in home care in Vetlanda, you have a key role in meeting the patient's individual care needs – physically, mentally, socially, and culturally. The work is characterized by independence, but you are also an important part of the teams you work with. Your work mainly includes nursing tasks, and you have overall responsibility for the nursing assistants' care efforts. You collaborate closely with primary care physicians through the municipality's health centers and actively contribute to creating safe and quality care. Your work tasks include: leading, prioritizing, and coordinating care work based on patient needs assessing medical needs organizing and initiating doctor contacts following up, documenting, and evaluating self-care prescribing and managing medications and medical devices We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role, has a professional approach, and thrives in a role where flexibility is an important part of the assignment. You adapt easily to different operations and situations while working in a structured manner and with good planning ahead. Our nurses work every fifth weekend and have approximately 1–2 evening shifts per five-week period. The work includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.
