Individual and Family Care is one of five operational areas within the Care and Social Services Department. The operation's mission is to conduct effective and lawful public authority, where interventions should be assigned based on the lowest level of care and with the client's participation in focus. The interventions carried out within the operation should be conducted with good quality and also with the client's participation in focus. The Advice, Support and Treatment Unit is the social services provider unit within the municipality's Individual and Family Care. Within the unit there are several different focuses such as family teams, addiction care, intimate partner violence, personal advocate, support for crime victims and the resource team. TASKS As a resource coordinator, you are responsible for finding and recruiting resources regarding residential group homes, foster care, respite homes, open care, contact families and contact persons that match the needs of children, young people and adults. You are responsible for investigating foster families, respite homes, contact families and contact persons. A large part of the daily work involves guiding and supporting contractors in their assignments. The assignment includes some contract writing and financial calculations. The assignment also includes monitoring placement development and statistics as well as having particular responsibility for monitoring the quality of both open care and 24-hour care services. Travel for work is common as follow-ups often take place in homes. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a social worker or has other education that the employer deems equivalent. We also see that you preferably have substantial and broad experience from the social services sector as well as experience with placement and resource matters. It is advantageous if you have experience investigating and guiding contractors. A category B driving license is required for the position. As a person, we see that you are unpretentious and have good ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy and respect. You have good communication skills and express yourself clearly both verbally and in writing. Furthermore, you convey security in your professional role and have the ability to perform in a pressured environment and handle difficult situations. You work systematically, methodically and reliably and have a high ability to follow instructions and deliver results, both in terms of quality and productivity, and to adhere to set schedules.
