Right now we're seeking resource educators for our new resource school Grades F-6. These positions are at 75-100% according to agreement. The resource school is centrally located near Mörby Center and Kyrkskolan. The school will have approximately 32 students in four classes. Staff work in well-functioning teams together with engaged and experienced colleagues. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a resource educator, you'll assist with daily care needs, instruction, and supervision during school and leisure time to support students academically and socially. Tasks that may be part of your work as a resource educator include: • Help students so the teacher can focus on instruction • Assist students with daily care needs such as clothing, hygiene, meals, etc. • Support the teacher with instruction and help students in their learning • Work to ensure the entire class has a sense of security and conducive study environment • Closely monitor students to provide support in their learning and social situations • Collect information and compile documentation regarding student development, both socially and academically • Participate in meetings such as EHK, EHT, development discussions, or other meetings concerning students • Maintain ongoing contact with guardians when needed • Be able to substitute as a class aide when a teacher is temporarily absent if needed You work according to the curriculum goals in Lgr22 and participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of the after-school program's educational activities together with your team colleagues. As a resource educator, you support students in their development and ensure a safe environment. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who: • Is trained as a childcare worker or has other education that the employer considers equivalent • Has experience and knowledge of pedagogical work/education in schools • Has experience with students with extensive need for special support and knowledge within NPF • Has very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written To thrive with us, you have a structured, methodical, and organized approach to work and create security for students through clear routines.
