They include preschool, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school programs and youth centers. You are welcomed to a newly established and development-oriented unit where we work together to ensure all students' right to equivalent education, in accordance with the Education Act. The unit Smedjan serves students in need of special support, where teaching is organized in a special instruction group with a high degree of structure, accessibility and security. The students come from Hammarskolan, the municipality's common middle school, and need a calm, predictable and well-organized learning environment. Here we work systematically to remove barriers to learning and create conditions for each student to develop as far as possible based on their own prerequisites. We are looking for colleagues who want to be part of building an operation where student development is at the center – both academically and socially. The work is characterized by a relational approach, clarifying pedagogy and active work for students' learning, health and well-being. In the operation, teachers and resource teachers/resource educators work closely together and in collaboration with other staff, student support services, guardians and external partners. Together we create a whole around the student. The goal is for each student to be given the conditions to reach the knowledge goals in primary school and thereby gain eligibility for a national upper secondary program. We work continuously with school development and systematic quality improvement – where your expertise and commitment become an important part of our shared development. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for you who are at least a certified preschool teacher/after-school educator and want to work with support in a special instruction group for students in grades 7-9. The student group is characterized by extensive needs for special support where your role is to work close to students and build relationships to contribute to a good learning environment and support in teaching. You are with the student during the entire school day, both during lessons and at breaks as well as during transitions. Together with the responsible subject teacher, you work closely with students to create conditions for learning towards goals and participation in teaching. You actively work to adapt teaching, develop alternative work methods and use compensatory aids to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment. You help build the new unit Smedjan, where structure, clarity and predictability are central elements. Together with colleagues, you shape working methods and routines that give students the best possible conditions to reach their goals. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues and student support services, as well as continuous dialogue with guardians and other people around the student. You are an active part of the common effort to create a safe, trusting and developing school environment. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for two certified resource teachers/resource educators with minimum eligibility for teaching in preschool/after-school care. You have a good ability to create structure and clarity in teaching contexts and can adapt teaching to students' different needs. Your work is based on the Education Act's requirements that students be given the guidance and stimulation as well as special support they need to progress as far as possible in their knowledge development. You are confident in your leadership and have the ability to create trusting relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. You work solution-focused, flexibly and independently with a clear student focus. Your work is characterized by clarifying pedagogy and an inclusive approach. You have a strong belief that all students can develop and reach their goals with the right support and high, realistic expectations. You see collaboration as a key to success and actively contribute to professional learning in the work team. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Meritorious are qualifications in special education and/or experience working with students in need of special support, for example in resource schools or special instruction groups. Knowledge of neuropsychology is also valuable. Employment form: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent. Before you can be employed, you must present a valid certificate from the police's suspect register and from the criminal record register, no more than 6 months old. During the interview, you will need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or national ID card together with ID documentation. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EEA or Switzerland, you must provide proof that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
