The Care and Welfare Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, and is responsible for administrative authority under applicable legislation. The administration conducts operations within elderly care, LSS (disability services), social psychiatry, health care, family support, and administrative authority. All work is performed with the resident in focus, based on our core values: respectful treatment, participation, trust, and safety. We are now strengthening our leadership by establishing a new position as a Resource Manager within the Welfare and Health Department. The role has an important function in creating continuity, stability, and development in our operations. As a Resource Manager, you will have the opportunity to work within elderly care, LSS, and social psychiatry and contribute your experience to various assignments and operations. 1 position(s). DUTIES Would you like a leadership role with great variety, where you can use all your leadership skills and contribute to stability, development, and quality in our operations? The Care and Welfare Administration in Sigtuna Municipality is now seeking a Resource Manager for the Welfare and Health Department. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute secure, present, and developmental leadership in our operations within elderly care, LSS, and social psychiatry. You will report to the Department Manager and be part of the management team where you currently have your assignment. As a Resource Manager, you are an important function within the department. You step into operations in cases such as managerial vacancies, extended absences, organizational changes, or development initiatives. In the role, you are responsible for operations, personnel, finances, and work environment, and contribute with stability, continuity, and structure. The role involves quickly familiarizing yourself with new operations and building trust with employees and cooperation partners. You support operations in change and development work, contribute to experience exchange between operational areas, and can also provide support to new manager colleagues. Between managerial assignments, you participate in or lead development and quality work that strengthens operations and contributes to a good work environment. QUALIFICATIONS • University degree of at least 180 credits in social work, behavioral science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent • Several years of experience working within LSS, social psychiatry, or elderly care • Experience as a leader with responsibility for personnel, budget, and operations • Experience working with systematic work environment management and handling work environment-related issues • Good Swedish in speech and writing • It is advantageous if you have experience from several of the operational areas of elderly care, LSS, and social psychiatry. It is also advantageous if you have experience in project management. To succeed in the role, you need to be an experienced leader who thrives in changing environments and can quickly familiarize yourself with new operations. You make well-founded decisions even in complex situations and have the ability to create trust, engagement, and direction in the groups you lead. At the same time, you are responsive, humble, and collaborate well with others to achieve common goals. You are organized and work with clear goals, processes, and follow-up. You have a good ability to create order and structure and to implement sustainable working methods that help strengthen and develop the operations' structures. You are results-oriented and driven by developing operations. You have good financial understanding, follow up on results, and see the connections between quality, work environment, operations, and finances. You also have knowledge and experience working with work environment issues and contribute to creating safe and sustainable workplaces for employees and managers.
