We have a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment matters affecting our municipality's residents. The administration also oversees the Arts School, food services, and student support services. Together we focus on continuously improving operations. Prästholmsskolan is a centrally located F-6 school with approximately 250 students. We have three after-school care departments where children receive supervision before and after school. We have parallel classes in each grade level with relatively high staff density. The school is organized into different work teams: F-3, 4-6, and after-school care. We have a special educator and special teacher as part of the school's student support team. The school also has safety pedagogues who collaborate on prevention and intervention measures related to safety and study environment. The assignment includes being a resource for individual students and in the classroom, occasionally substituting during absences, and spending some time in the afternoon at the after-school care. You collaborate with classroom teachers and after-school educators. The assignment involves supporting students' learning and social development. Fixed-term employment during the period August 26, 2026 – June 27, 2027. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is self-directed, takes responsibility, has good collaboration skills, and sees opportunities for each student's individual development. You have a strong ability to create and maintain professional and trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are cheerful, friendly, positive, and flexible. You have good ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Previous experience working in schools is a merit. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Welcome to us! Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: August 3, 2026. Please attach your teaching license or diploma.
