Fagersta is located in northern Västmanland. The municipality has extensive collaboration with neighboring municipalities. The geographical location is very favorable with proximity to a large population area. The municipality currently has approximately 13,100 residents. The school has work teams for grades 1-3 and 4-6. Each team has a team leader. The school has two parallel classes in all grade levels. We have three teachers for two classes in grades 1-6 and collaboration staff from the after-school program in grades F-3. The school's student support consists of 2 special education teachers/special pedagogues, a counselor, school nurse, social pedagogue, assistant principal, and principal. There is access to a school physician and school psychologist. We work systematically with quality development using the Model. Evaluation tools and annual schedules have been developed jointly across the municipality's primary schools. Responsibilities We are seeking a resource for our small teaching group. In the special education group, you will work as part of a team with a special education teacher and another resource to provide each student with the best conditions to develop and succeed. Qualifications We would like you to have pedagogical training, such as child care certification or experience working with students in need of special support. We place great importance on personal qualities. Collaboration, building relationships, problem-solving, and clear leadership are qualities we consider important. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of NPF and experience working with students in need of special support. You are solution-focused and have strong collaboration skills. Terms 75% position Start date: As soon as possible. Employment until 2026-12-31 with possibility of extension. Before employment, a certificate from the criminal record register must be provided.
