Restaurant Manager at Starby Spa, Hotel & Conference Are you a confident leader who enjoys people, structure, and excellent service? We're now looking for a restaurant manager who wants to lead and develop our restaurant team at Starby in Vadstena. As a restaurant manager, you have clear personnel responsibility and an important role in daily operations. You create structure, plan staffing, and ensure the right person is in the right place. Scheduling and monitoring labor costs are central parts of the role. Therefore, we're looking for someone who is thorough, cost-conscious, and experienced in planning based on operational needs. You are present in the restaurant and lead the team by being clear, engaged, and solution-oriented. With us, you work closely with the kitchen, breakfast reception, bookings, and other departments to create a truly excellent overall experience for our guests. In this role, you are responsible for: • Personnel management for the restaurant service team • Scheduling and staffing planning • Monitoring work hours, labor costs, and key metrics • Introduction and development of staff members • Daily work management and task allocation • Ensuring routines, procedures, and service standards are followed • Planning for hotel packages, conferences, groups, and special events • Purchasing, inventory management, and stocktaking • Contributing to the restaurant's continued development and profitability We're looking for someone who: • Has experience with team leadership in restaurants or hotels • Is confident with personnel responsibility • Has strong experience in scheduling • Understands the connection between staffing, quality, and profitability • Is organized, clear in communication, and good at communicating • Enjoys working operationally alongside your team • Has a genuine interest in food, beverages, and hospitality • Speaks fluent Swedish and English Experience with conference hotel operations and large events is a merit.
