Restaurant Manager

Do you want to lead operations at one of Stockholm's most unique meeting places? Karamellan Café & Restaurang at Drottningholm is now looking for a driven and responsible Restaurant Manager. We offer a varied leadership role in a historic setting with focus on both daily café-restaurant operations, event floors, and unique events. The position is a permanent employment starting immediately. Working hours are mostly during daytime (we are open daily 10.00–17.00), with evening work during pre-booked dinners, weddings, and Christmas dinners. As a restaurant manager, you will be the owners' right hand. You have overall responsibility for daily operations during your shifts and actively work to train, guide, and motivate our team. Your main responsibilities include: Lead and distribute daily work in the till and dining room. Inventory stock and create ordering lists for food and beverages. Plan schedules for till, service, and food runners. Handle bookings for groups, event floors, weddings, and Christmas dinners. Manage operations including opening and closing procedures. Drive the development of the business forward together with the owners. We are looking for a strong and confident personality with natural leadership qualities who thrives in a social and international environment where the pace can sometimes be very high. Our business operates year-round but has a clear seasonal character – April through September is our absolute peak season, December is marked by Christmas dinners, while January through March offers a slower pace. To succeed in the role, we see that you: Have solid leadership experience and have previously worked with personnel responsibility in the industry. Have experience with events and ideally have worked with weddings and larger orders. Are flexible and stress-resilient and have strong organizational skills.
