We are now looking for a Restaurant Manager who wants to be part of our professional team where we together ensure that every guest feels well taken care of. Our guests come from different parts of the world, which means we need to adapt to different types of arrangements and wishes.
As Restaurant Manager, you lead the heart of the operation with a focus on guest and dining experience in the restaurant, our lounges and our catering operations. You are responsible for creating a good overall experience for our guests where service and hospitality are central.
At Bofors Hotel, the evenings are an important part of our operations. It is then that our guests meet for representation and where the dining experience becomes an important part of relationship building. We offer carefully composed menus with amuse-bouche and selected beverages. Furthermore, we pride ourselves on a wide range of our own products under private label.
In this role you find yourself in the environment where our owners create relationships with their customers and important business is conducted in an international context. With our unique guest and dining experience, we contribute to creating great business and customer value, which has a high and appreciated value.
Our work is conducted all days of the week but preferably Monday to Friday. We are usually closed during the summer, Christmas and other major holidays.
Who are you?
To succeed in the role, we see that you have previous experience in the industry with restaurant craftsmanship as the foundation.
You are a confident and experienced leader who enjoys guest contact and has the ability to coach your team in daily operations.
You have an unpretentious leadership style with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, while at the same time possessing an ability in tactical and visionary work.
You enjoy being the face of the business and being present among both guests and staff.
Your experience and sense of hospitality is your greatest strength and you lead by being a role model in operations.
You are used to working with international guests where English is the most common language.
You have a good administrative foundation and see scheduling, economics and work environment as obvious and important parts of creating a successful operation.
In the role you will meet worldly guests from different cultures and religions, therefore we see that you have a good understanding of the importance of propriety, etiquette and respectful treatment. You are driven to deliver at a high level with very good quality and you see no shortcuts. You have an eye for detail and the ability to see the experience from the guest's perspective with a desire to constantly deliver a professional experience.

The historic Bofors Hotel is located in Karlskoga, 30 minutes from Örebro and 45 minutes from Karlstad and is part of the company Nobeli.
The hotel offers, among other things, 34 hotel rooms, conference facilities and several dining rooms and lounges. The majority of our guest rooms are typically occupied by international business travelers and we have extensive restaurant operations.
