We are looking for a restaurant staff member with enthusiasm and a passion for service who wants to help drive our restaurant and event spaces forward. Here, families, business lunches, wedding guests, and more gather to experience excellent food, beautiful settings, and warm hospitality. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality service in the bistro and in our event spaces during various events related to conferences, weddings, celebrations, and more. Working hours are primarily Wednesday–Sunday during daytime. Some evening shifts may occur as needed. About Us: Långängens gård is located in the beautiful nature reserve of Långängen on Lidingö. The buildings date back to the 1700s and once housed author Wilhelm Von Braun when the property was owned by "Lidingö King" Janne Zetterberg. The property has also served as a poorhouse. Since the mid-1900s, Långängens gård has been a well-visited café/bistro and in recent years has evolved into a restaurant/bistro where we prepare everything from scratch, grow as much as we can, and operate our own smokehouse. All to achieve the right atmosphere. We are a small, tight-knit team of about 5 people who together manage daily operations. We are unpretentious and all strive in the same direction: to keep things simple but, above all, excellent. What Can We Offer You? Strong communication and leadership skills. Good computer skills. We prefer candidates with prior experience in similar roles. Swedish and English, spoken and written. A driver's license is a strong asset. Main Responsibilities: Financial awareness. Operate the Ancon POS system. Work actively together to develop service, quality, and procedures. Communication with the kitchen and other departments. Serving food & beverages to our guests. Work in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. Terms Permanent full-time position with a probationary period. Salary by agreement.
