About the Position This is a true traveling position for someone who enjoys being out on assignments and working in varying environments. As a traveling welding technician, you will work both in production and at customer sites with installation, assembly, and customization of Sveba Dahlen's equipment and systems. Travel is a natural and important part of the role. Assignments can range from approximately 3 days to 4 weeks at a time, both within Sweden and internationally. Therefore, we are looking for someone who appreciates mobile work and has the ability to travel frequently in the position. You will gradually receive training in the company's products and technical solutions, including training to develop within the role and become a specialist on the company's equipment and installations. When you are not on traveling assignments, you will work with assembly, welding, and manufacturing in the company's production facility. Responsibilities MIG and TIG welding Mechanical assembly and final assembly Blueprint reading and quality control Installation and assembly at customer sites Traveling service and installation assignments Troubleshooting and practical problem-solving work Collaboration with colleagues in production and projects The position is based on day shifts, but travel and overnight stays are a natural part of the work. We are Looking for Someone Who Has workshop technical education or equivalent experience Has experience in welding and industrial assembly Is comfortable reading and working from technical blueprints Enjoys practical and physical work Has a solution-oriented and self-directed work style Is flexible and appreciates variation in work Enjoys traveling and working at different locations for extended periods Has good collaboration skills and a positive attitude Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written Has a valid driver's license (Class B) Other Information This is a staffing position with good opportunities for direct employment with the client company after the recruitment period.
